Boo!!!

Did you dress up like a kid and go for the wicked candy??? I did, and caught myself a scary ghost while I was at it ;O)

There's something in the air this time of year. Fall feels like renewel to me, so much more than spring (maybe because I'm not allergic to anything that flies about in the fall, and spring sends me to bed for a couple of weeks). Something that reminds me to play every chance I get, before the work stuff comes knocking again.

The smell of all that candy I don't even like to eat. The tapestry of the sun setting behind trees bursting with rusty-red leaves. The magic of watching my ten-
year-old's excitement and laughter, expecially when he gets to act like he's scari
ng mom, LOL!

Do you remember it? A night where even adults come out to play, and you can be as crazy as you want? Two month's 'til Christmas, Thanksgiving's just around the corner. The whole world is about to throw party after party for you, and all you have to do is show up and be a kid.

Be a kid, my friends. Be that kid every day. When the world starts to look too real, pull up your mask and say, BOO! Go for the candy. Remember that playtime is just around the corner, and make today a dress rehersal ;O)

I'll have a new winner to announce tomorrow. Then I'm off to the Southern Magic reader luncheon in Birmingham. Hope I see some of you there!!

    Hey Anna,
We had a great Halloween as well. My son went as Jack Sparrow the pirate. He had a blast trick-or-treating with all his friends from the neighborhood. Now I have more candy than Walmart. I don't know how I'm going to get rid of it all! I agree - it's great to act like a kid - I treasure everyday when my son and I do crazy things together! I love to hear him giggle uncontrollably - the best sound in the world. Have fun at the luncheon!

Great pics! I didn't dress up. Nieces and nephew were dressed up as snow white, the tin man, and one dressed up with the scream mask.

The pic of you looks great! Ah, another Halloween fan. I start decorating on the first of October. It is a fun time for adults. I love ghost stories and all the movie channels dig up their stash of movies.

I didn't dress up this year. My 3 month old granddaughter was a baby duck. My grandsons were a Soldier, a pirate, Spongebob and the 9 month old was Superman. If I do say so, they were all adorable. Anna, you are like our beloved butterflies, just flitting from one event to another. That's great. So glad you had fun on Halloween. You look fantastic. Have fun, take care and don't eat too much candy. Hugs to all.

    Oh Anna,

I love the pictures! My daughter dressed up as a genie, and my son was a pirate. We took them to the mall to play all the games for candy, and then trick-or-treating. I have so much fun seeing everything through their eyes! It is like I am a kid again! :)

The pictures are great. Glad everyone had a nice Halloween. It was very quiet here. It rained and not many kids came around.

Oh I was a witch too but you were a much prettier one lol. I got to dress up to work a couple events at our American Legion - one for kids and one for adults. Both were fun. It rained Halloween night so it was pretty slow.
